It interesting that Rayment has given Derek a block for 'snarking'. Presumably this is to maintain a decent, respectful, and intelligent tone in the body of the discussion. However, Schafly's entire tone in his addresses to Dr. Lenski have been openly insulting and ignorant from the start, yet there has been no attempt to address that problem from Rayment. A number of others have flung open insults, yet no blocks are in placefor them as long as they insult Dr. Lenski. How is that not a double standard? {{unsigned|Bithead}}

Really, starting a conversation with "I will post your reply, or lack thereof" then maintaining that one only wants to participate in a scientific conversation and is chiefly concerned with freedom of information is hypocritical to say the very least. As someone who can't be blocked, he has clearly set the standard for conservapedia. Also, others on this thread have tendered obvious insults yet enjoyed no admonitions - again so long as they insult Lenski. Isn't there something in the 'conservapedia commandments' about double standards?
