== Arguments in favour ==
Whilst there are certainly arguments against gun control, the stronger ones are in favour of it. A gun is only a deterrent if one would ''use'' it if threatened, and, from a Christian perspective, this would almost certainly be a sin. It also encourages [[Pride]] in one's ability to defend oneself, which is of course the greatest sin of all.
