Mayonnaise is often referred to as Mayo. It is made with eggs, vinegar and oil and may have herbs added for flavor. It is an emulsion of the oil and vinegar and may seperate if not mixed properly. The use of electric mixers , food processors or blenders have made this tedious task much easier.
