Currently, the Palestinians living in disputed territories, are trying to create a state called Palestine, whose creation is supported by several Muslim countries as well as the USA, Russia, the UN and the EU. These last four bodies are known as The Quartet and have established a "roadmap" for negotiations, the aim of which is a two state solution for Israel and a separate Palestinian state.
