In this political cartoon, Theodore Roosevelt’s ghost is watching with anger while the House and the Senate using bigger and more powerful sticks than his famous “Big Stick”. The House and the Senate are gaining more dictatorial power and they are trying to take over the White House, or power of the presidency. In other words the House and the Senate are trying to gain more power and get what they want. I think this cartoon was published in the early 1900’s.
