There is a missing parenthesis in his date of birth, and in the "Birth certificate controversy" section, the word "intelligible" should be "ineligible".  Those are the only 2 I caught in a quick scan of the page.  [[User:WesleyS|WesleyS]][[User Talk:WesleyS|Hello!]] 23:32, 7 February 2009 (EST)

I'm guessing there probably aren't a lot of linguists here, but for whatever reasons the editors have for believing that "Obama is likely the first Muslim president", I think his pronunciation of Pakistan is a particularly weak point on the list, and should be removed.

While it is true that Obama does use the "Muslim Pakistani" pronunciation of the name, it is also true to say that this pronunciation is shared by, well, just about everyone who isn't American.

Phonological variation can be a good indicator of many things, such as educational background, and use of regional dialect. Unfortunately, allegations of Obama's SECRET MUSLIM IDENTITY are definitely not fulfilled by these criteria.
