In [[Minoan Civilization]] there is a picture of coins that, if we can believe the description, is inappropriate in that the date of 500 B.C. is about 1000 years after the demise of the Minoans. Do you, in your magic box of pictures, have a replacement picture. Things to look for are "Minoan" "Ancient Crete" "Knossos", "Linear A" (I'll explain that if you want.) "Labrynth", "Bull Dancing" "Minotaur".

:::G'morning...I was in a hurry yesterday, and didn't make myself clear, I think. When I "saved" my comment the ''category: sailing ship types'' I wrote in the first line appeared at the bottom of your talkpage...that's what I couldn't fix.
Why I mentioned the category: I created that category and, except for [[clipper]] - which I will add to today - all the articles in it are mine, either new articles or worked out of stubs; and apart from [[caravel]]all since you got me onto a nautical bender with "Tugboat" about a week ago. I have almost done it now, I think...the only major sailing "ship" type left not included is [[yacht]] and that id not so much a type as a "usage". I have also tried to explain certain types of rigging and other features. The only way I they could be explained better would be with pictures. The problem is the pictures would have to be exactly fitting the ship type, rigging etc of the vessel described. Perhaps most of them should be left unillustrated. Cheers. :Back again. The problem, Joaquín, is that the Minoan civilization had no coins. Coins weren't "invented" until at least 800 years '''after the Minoan civilization fell'''. So the picture is inappropriate. It's like having an Aztec artifact illustrated in an article about the fall of the Teotihuican culture, or an Elizabethan coin in an article about Anglo-Saxon England. Same place, different culture. I know I'm a pain, but isn't here an available picture of the ruins at Knossos, or the wonderful throne room, or something? I think the committee's official votes should stay on the main page, while regular editors' comments and suggestions should be on the talk page. This keeps official separate from unofficial.
