:Well, okay. It goes like this. Almost no one denies that self-defense (or defending someone else) is justifiable by that commandment. So fighting a war for national security or to remove a murderous dictator is generally just.
:The military is something to be respected for its actions, not as a general rule. In my view, most of America's wars have been just and the service of our military has been just as well. It has never been to commit war crimes or to fight a war without the intent of saving American or foreign lives.
:So: ''if'' our military and our nation habitually waged unjust wars, I would not uphold them and in fact I would criticize those who do of contradiction. But ''if'' they have not, then I do uphold them. So let me ask you, do you accuse the military of fighting unjust wars?
