::my recollection is that House GOP rules required anyone under indictment to step down as a leader. he did not imediately resign from the House--he ran for renomination (and won the primary), then resigned from the House--but I need to check on the dates.[[User:RJJensen|RJJensen]] 20:13, 29 June 2009 (EDT)
