This is an interesting article, and I've learned a lot from it.  But the section about the SDA's desire to respect a Christian Sunday perplexes me - "The concern about establishing a Christian Sunday expanded into opposition to the establishment of a "Christian" identity for the nation, and opposition to school prayer. This led to easy alliances with secularists in the American political spectrum."  I don't understand that?  How did their "concern about establishing a Christian Sunday" lead them to 'oppose Christianity and school prayer'?!  It seems like they are completely opposite instincts?    Can that point be clarified?  --[[User:KipDonner|KipDonner]] 19:08, 10 July 2009 (EDT)
