A hound is a member of the dog family that was bred to help hunters track their prey. They are typically medium in size and are recognized by their typical brown, black, and white fur colors. They have a great sense of smell and most are quick on their feet. [http://www.pets4you.com/pages/images/bounds9.jpg]
