Mr. Colbert recently has gained attention in the media with his satirical mocking of Fox News' Glenn Beck, who often lets emotion and conjecture rule his newscasts. Colbert has mocked Beck's claims that President Barack Obama is a racist, and that Mr. Obama is a socialist.   Most recently, Mr. Colbert claimed hypocrisy in when Mr. Beck founded his "9/12 Project," but has previously stated on his radio show, "You know, it took me about a year to start hating the 9-11 victims' families."
