:He's a republican vice-president. His party is against [[same-sex marriage|gay marriage]], deleting this reference eliminates depth of the man. (He, personally, doesn't care one way or the other on gay marriage, IIRC.) BTW, I don't think anybody used Mary although they may have sought to try but I think ''she'' put a stop to any sorts of moves years ago.
