This is just baffling. Ford did narrowly beat Reagan in the caucus, but I've never heard of a straw poll being held simultaneously
with a caucus. Besides, the '76 primary was a long and gruelling contest; it seems a little odd to blame Reagan's eventual defeat on such an early event. However, I think I'll wait a bit and see if anyone can explain this before I do any alterations.
