: Thanks for your comments. I'd like to stick to documented facts. Do you have any proof of the ACLU's motivation? In particular, how do you know that the ACLU is more interested in religion than evolution, and that the ACLU didn't just come in from the outside and make trouble?

: It seems to me that the ACLU filed in behalf of itself as much as the parents. No one sued without the ACLU. The ACLU could have found other parents if they had to. If parents sued without the ACLU and the ACLU came in later, then you would have a point. [[User:RSchlafly|RSchlafly]] 14:10, 2 April 2007 (EDT)

::I will see what I can find about motivations, and will post when I have.  However, the ACLU cannot sue “in behalf of itself”—it lacks standing and would have been thrown out of court in a second.  If you are serious about sticking to the facts, the article here should be changed to recognize the fact that the ACLU filed on behalf of the parents—the reference supporting this section says as much.--[[User:Reginod|Reginod]] 14:39, 2 April 2007 (EDT)
