The page begins with "Conservative principles are based on reason. So why do non-conservatives still exist?" But as an independent (at least, that's what I consider myself to be), I'd like to point out that such a statement is from a conservative perspective. Coming from an independent, couldn't I say, "Independent principles are based on reason. So why do non-independents still exist?" Of course, many conservative ideas have merit, but I also find that some liberal ideas also do. If one calls those subscribing to liberal ideology "inherently irrational," would that mean that I am partially irrational? I think it is just a matter of perspective or opinion, and while one side may have the superior reasoning on one issue or the other, this article seems to me like a gross simplification.

By the way, I'm a new editor here, so please excuse me about where talk pages are supposed to go (do they go on the top, bottom, alphabetical order, etc.?)

The suggestion may (or may not) have been made with parodic intent, but I had been thinking along similar lines. It is well-known that use of drugs - 'even' marijuana, which Liberals pretend is less harmful than candy - causes a range of psychiatric illnesses (which may also be hereditary); and I think that maybe between us we could come up with an acceptable form of words.
