Ronald Lee Ermey (better known as R. Lee Ermey) is an American actor and former United States Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant. He is widely known for his role as Gunnery Sergeant Hartman in the 1987 film Full Metal Jacket. He is also one of the few conservative celebrities. On December 29, 2010, he lambasted the liberal Obama administration, calling them out for "bringing the country to its knees" and moving it towards socialism.
