The Lend-Lease Act was a congressional act that allowed the [[President]] to send arms and other war supplies to any country deemed necessary to the defense of the [[United States]].  President Roosevelt persuaded [[Congress]] to pass this act in 1941.  The Lend-Lease program was ended in 1945.

The Lend-Lease program was ended in 1945.
