[[DNA]] has four bases: adenine, thymine, guanine, and cytosine (ATGC). Adenine always pairs with thymine (AT), and guanine always pairs with cytosine (GC).

[[RNA]] bases are the same, except that uracil replaces thymine. There are cases where RNA does not conform to normal Watson-Crick base pairing.
