Conservapedia:Inappropriate/trolling behavior (view source)
Revision as of 03:07, August 5, 2011
, 03:07, August 5, 2011start
'''Trolling''' is the monopolizing of discussions, repeatedly talking more than the other side, despite saying nothing coherent. It can be the posting of outrageous comments to bait people. Trolling is also redundant arguments intended to occupy and waste other users time, efforts, and energies, and to distract them from productive editing and making mainspace article contributions.
Many trolls are attention getters, or just enjoy annoying people. Some however, have a direct purpose or agenda -- to destroy an internet community project by inconveniencing and harassing users. Trolling is blockable offense. However, blocking the troll does not solve the problem; determined trolls can continue their activity through blocking appeals and [[sockpuppet]]ry.
