Never mind that he's Putin's stooge; he leads a country that's one step away from a totalitarian state, protects Iran from sanctions and supplies advanced weapons to China. Just because he's tightened the law on advertising abortions - and that's ALL he's done; actual abortion law hasn't been tightened at all - doesn't make him conservative.
