And the only thing really new about the Third Reich's genocide was the modern technology and record keeping [[Heinrich Himmler]] brought to it. See the article on [[Third Reich]] for a detailed discussion of Hitler's desire to return Germany to what it was before women and Jews had gained more rights and art had moved beyond the romanticism Hitler preferred.
