On the contrary, Christians have an unquestioning faith only because of questioning originally. The Bible calls "noble" those who question what it says so long as they do so with an open mind and a desire to see "whether those things were so": "These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so." (Acts 17:11)

We are called to believe in God, but that does not mean without evidence. Otherwise, why would Jesus have showed His wounds to the disciples and called on them to "be not faithless, but believing"? (John 20:7) Why would Paul have debated with pagan philosophers, quoting their own poets, if reason was outlawed in Christianity? (Acts 17:28) The premise that Christians have an unquestioning faith itself seems based on a false premise. --[[User:Jzyehoshua|Jzyehoshua]] 19:02, 20 July 2012 (EDT)
