|As of the end of Day 1, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Norway had one medal apiece, and no other country with same-sex marriage nationally had received a medal. As the Olympics progress, the predicted medals based on GDP will become more accurate. For instance, nobody predicted the Netherlands would win their 11 predicted medals all on the first day. We will have to wait to see how their actual totals compare.
