Starlight deflection

Starlight deflection is a prediction by the Theory of General Relativity that the light from distant stars is deflected as it passes in proximity to the sun, due to how the massive sun supposedly bends space around it.

Measurements of starlight deflection are taken during solar eclipses, but over the years this approach has had too much uncertainty to verify the theory.
