A loop can be a whole lot of things... any kind of a routine that's done repeatedly, an aerial maneuver, a part of a roller coaster, a repeating cycle (eg music, video, programming, etc.), a circuit that you might follow (eg a patrol), a circle of rope, a figure skating jump, a type of finger print pattern, the name of a band, a book, and other media. I wasn't thinking of anything in particular, I just thought it would make sense to be as specific now as possible. If I were to search for loop here, I wouldn't necessarily expect an article on computer programs, though I can't think of any other "loop" right now that deserves its own article.
