Lists

We need to limit this article to a few notable examples - not a list of basically every Republican holding office. Furthermore - a Republican voting for one certain bill does not necessarily make him a RINO; same as a Democrat voting for a bill that happens to have tax cuts wouldn't make him a Blue Dog. Having the list exacerbates the tendency for certain editors (and parodists) to just add any Republican they want and point to one or two things the guy has done.--IDuan 13:15, 24 August 2013 (EDT)

I agree, listing just about the entire party (most of them only for one or two offenses) makes us look unprofessional. I think to be put on the list, at least three reasons should be provided as to why they're a RINO, with sources. Under our previous list, there were exactly five GOP Senators who didn't make the list (Scott, Fischer, Paul, Cruz, and Lee). PatrickB 14:33, 26 August 2013 (EDT)

No, because they don't represent the case. If a party is from the bottom up, as they would claim (rather than top down), the political base is the actual party. --1990'sguy (talk) 16:58, 6 August 2019 (EDT)
