- Sorry for the bad redirect. But then maybe Resistance should also not redirect to electrical resistance? -Foxtrot 23:34, 20 September 2008 (EDT)
- I guess that was my fault. I was just fixing the double redirect. Sorry for any confusion! LiamG 23:38, 20 September 2008 (EDT)
- Foxtrot, I agree that resistance should not be a redirect to electrical resistance either. It should be a disambiguation page.
- Here are the meanings from thefreedictionary.com/:
- The act or an instance of resisting or the capacity to resist.
- A force that tends to oppose or retard motion.
- often Resistance An underground organization engaged in a struggle for national liberation in a country under military or totalitarian occupation.
- Psychology A process in which the ego opposes the conscious recall of anxiety-producing experiences.
- Biology

- b. The capacity of an organism or a tissue to withstand the effects of a harmful environmental agent.
6. Electricity The opposition of a body or substance to current passing through it, resulting in a change of electrical energy into heat or another form of energy.
- It also says re·sistant adj., so resistant should redirect to resistance. --DeanStalk 23:54, 20 September 2008 (EDT)
