Vaxelis is a combination vaccine that purports to immunize against tetanus, diphtheria, (acellular) pertussis, and polio virus (inactivated vaccine). It may also include the Haemophilus influenzae type b bacteria conjugate and/or hepatitis B vaccine.
It is being promoted for a potential benefit of 2-3 fewer vaccine shots, but it becomes difficult or impossible to diagnose an adverse reaction with so many combined vaccines.
