Fulgencio Batista

Fulgencio Batista was the dictator of Cuba before Fidel Castro. Under him Cuba thrived and he kept close ties to the U.S.A. He was overthrown when the U.S. started to back Fidel Castro. He fled the country and Castro took over as dictator of Cuba.
