Knoxville

Knoxville is a city of eastern Tennessee. Founded as a settlement in 1786 by James White, it was named Knoxville in 1791, and in the nineteenth century became a major distribution and industrial center. In 2011, Knoxville had a population of 180,761.[1]

In 2010 Forbes Magazine rated Knoxville eighth in the top 10 places to raise a family.[2]
