Kermit Gosnell, MD is an abortion practitioner in Philadelphia, PA. On April 29, 2013 he went on trial for murder in the first degree, charged in the deaths of several babies that, the State alleges, were born alive, and that he made sure would die anyway. His trial has received coverage from only one reporter (Joe Slobodzian of The Philadelphia Inquirer), one cable television channel (Fox News Channel), NPR, [1], the Chicago Tribune, [2] the New York Times, [3] Al-Jazeera [4] the Atlantic Monthly, [5] and the Huffington Post. [6]
The issues raised at trial, and lack of response to them from some quarters, raise serious questions as to the motives of abortion advocates in America today.
