Balkans

The Balkans are the countries occupying the Balkan Peninsula. Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, Greece, & Turkey in Europe. The region derives its name from the Balkan mountain range in Bulgaria.
