University of Kansas

The University of Kansas is a liberal arts college located in Lawrence, Kansas. As of spring 2007, about 25,000 students were enrolled at the Lawrence Campus. [1] The school's mascot is the Jayhawk, which is a mythical bird, and the school colors are crimson and blue. Notable alumni include Bob Dole, Clyde Tombaugh, William Allen White, Wilt Chamberlain, and Kathleen Sebelius. [2]
