Dan Quayle

Dan Quayle was the vice president under George H. W. Bush. He had a much publicized feud with Murphy Brown, who was a fictional single mother. Dan Quayle said that she was immoral and there was a big fight in the media. Quayle was criticized for debating the lifestyle of a person who did not actually exist. He was also criticised for misspelling "potato" as "potatoe," but is remembered as a loyal Republican and loyal conservative in hindsight.
