Federal funding

Federal funding is funding provided to an entity by the Federal Government. Entities which accept federal funding often have a conflict of interest when it comes to issues dealing with the government, because they don't want to lose their funding. Insidious forms of federal funding include:
- Public schools
- State governments
- The National Endowment for the Arts
- Tax-exempt religious institutions â since that is equivalent to receiving the same amount in federal funding
- Tax credits to private citizens
