John Oliver

John Oliver is a liberal, British comedian with a satirical news show, Last Week Tonight. Last Week Tonight is similar to The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
John typically discusses "issues" that are mostly off the radar for many Americans, meaning that his topics are either liberal leaning or flat out unimportant.
He started the church, Our Lady of Perpetual Exemption, in order to satirize Christian pastors that request charitable donations. Hypocritically, he received donations and kept them. As of September 14, 2015, Oliver has disbanded the church.
