Mark Meadows (born July 28, 1959) is the conservative Republican U.S. Representative from North Carolina's 11th congressional district. Meadows was born in Verdun, France in a United States Army hospital. Mark graduated from the University of South Florida and is married.
Mark Meadows is a founding member of the House Freedom Caucus of conservatives. He would offered a motion to vacate the chair held by Speaker John Boehner citing no-confidence. [1] Boehner was not able to secure enough Republican votes and announced resigning in October.
