Oban

Oban is a town situated on the West Coast of Scotland. Oban is the location of the ferry terminal for ferries sailing to many Hebridean islands. Caledonian MacBrayne are the state-controlled operators of the majority of these ferries, which have imposed Sunday sailings on the islands in conflict with the wishes of their God-fearing inhabitants.
Oban should be pronounced with an extended 'O'.
