The Chalkening

The Chalkening is a play on the word The Awakening, a horror movie. The Chalkening came about after Emory University students complained of chalk writings on campus that promoted Donald Trump; Trump 2016, Make America Great, Build The Wall, etc. Students told their Dean about feeling scared, and deeply hurt that these chalk messenges appeared.
The story went viral. Now photos online show campuses across the country with support for Trump in chalk.
