Carl Curtis McIntire, Jr. (May 17, 1906 – March 19, 2002) was an American fundamentalist Presbyterian who founded the Bible Presbyterian Church in Collingswood after he felt the Presbyterian church he was already a part of wasn't spewing enough anti-Catholic sentiment. [1]

McIntire was known as a anti-communist during the Cold War who actively supported the United States Military.[2]

Carl McIntire was responsible for having his church members hand out anti-Catholic pamphlets and blasting the Catholic church, calling it the "Whore of Babylon". He's probably best known by Collingswood residents for sailing in a ship beyond the NJ coast line limit to legally continue his radio talk, gaining him the nickname "Wacky Macky".
