Rupert bear

Rupert Bear is the main character in a classic British comic strip.[1] From his rural home in the quiet village of Nutwood, Rupert has many adventures, catching smugglers, fixing the mischief caused by various magical creatures such as the impish Jack Frost, and helping folks like Father Christmas when problems arise. His chums Algy Pug and Bill Badger are often in on the action.
