Hunter Adams is a social activist and physician who ran a free clinic dubbed the "Gesundheit Institute" in a 6-bedroom house.
He intended for over 30 years to build a hospital in West Virginia.[1]
A comedy film, Patch Adams, was based loosely on some episodes in his life.
