Jim Davidson is a popular British entertainer and comedian, excoriated by the liberal establishment and media for his patriotic political views. Like the late Bob Hope, he has made a special point of entertaining service personnel on foreign postings. His television successes include Up the Elephant and Round the Castle, after the eponymous London district, and Jim Davidson's Generation Game.
