Template:Expand Pocket billiards is a solely male pastime popular throughout the United Kingdom. It bears a similarity to billiards but involves only two balls. The cue is known as a tadger. The pace of the game is faster than conventional billiards and often results in an exciting climax. The current manager of Aberdeen FC Jimmy Calderwood was world champion from 1976 until 1983.
