Daniel Schutte (b. 1947) is a successful Christian songwriter. His hymns tend to be more traditional and conservative than other contemporary church music.
Schutte wrote the following popular hymns:

- Glory and Praise to Our God (1976)
- Blest Be the Lord (1976)
- Here I am, Lord (1981)
- City of God (1981)
- Only This I Want (1981)
- Table of Plenty (1992).
John Michael Talbot and Amy Grant have performed many of Schutte's works.
