K. Freigedank is the pen name of composer Richard Wagner in a series of anti-Semitic writings, especially Das Judenthum in Der Musik (Judaism in Music or more accurately Jewishness in Music), first published in 1850. The article could have possibly influenced the National Socialism (Nazi) of Germany under Adolf Hitler.
The word itself, freigedank, is German for free thought or free-thinker, which in its English annotation is used as a byword for atheism.
