The Minnesota Wild are a professional ice hockey team based in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The Wild joined the NHL in 2000, although an earlier team, the Minnesota North Stars (now the Dallas Stars) played hockey in Saint Paul from 1967-1993. The Wild play in the Northwest Division of the Western Conference at Xcel Energy Center.
