Advanced Encryption Standard

Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is a symmetric-key block cipher algorithm adopted by the National Institute of Standards and Technology as an encryption standard. It is the successor of the Data Encryption Standard (DES). It supports key sizes of 128, 192, and 256 bits.
