Menasseh ben Israel

Menasseh ben Israel (1604–November 20, 1657) was a Jewish rabbi and publisher who founded the first Hebrew printing press in Amsterdam in 1626. He was instrumental in the readmission of Jews to England under the rule of Oliver Cromwell.
